1st Saudi workplace safety, health, environment and wellbeing conference and exhibition is being held under the auspices of the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) in Dammam, Saudi Arabia to demonstrate The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s 2030 vision under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and His Highness the Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud towards society’s enjoyment of a good life in a beautiful environment, protected by caring families and supported by an empowering social and health-care system.

Work continues to be a vital component of modern living with most people spending a third of their adult life at work. More than 2.3 million people lose their lives because of work-related accidents or illnesses every year.

At the same time, the world of work is undergoing a rapid and fundamental change. Irrespective of the changes that are in motion, people’s contributions are still essential. While the benefits of health and safety at work are compelling , many people are still finding themselves in harm’s way. The need for global advancements in health and safety in the workplace is clear and urgent.

This IOSH event will bring together global thought-leaders to discuss work safety and health issues in a changing work environment. The event offers exciting, relevant, and up-to-date insights into the world of work from both national and global perspectives.
